Francisco Fernandez is the founder and CEO of Avaloq Group. Avaloq is a Swiss company which develops and provides software for core banking.
He holds a master’s degree in informatics
from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich as well as a
certificate in business administration from the Centre for Industrial
Management (BWI) of the ETH. He is responsible for the security of $4 trillion
(£3.2tn) of bank deposits around the world.
Established in 1985, Avaloq is a
technology-driven financial services provider for wealth management, universal
and retail banks. The company serves more than 155 financial institutions in the
most demanding financial centers around the world.
Avaloq takes security very seriously,
especially protecting banks from cyber-attack. To help make its software as
